Brian Barritt
Mechanical Engineer
Brian brought over eight years of field and supervisory experience from the Energy business before starting with EMIT in January 2006. That experience when combined with his excellent mechanical aptitude, have enabled Brian to develop into an accomplished project leader with practical problem solving abilities. Brian has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming.
Cody Barritt
Mechanical Engineer
Cody brings five years of design and implementation of mechanical/electrical systems. Three of those five years has been in the oil and gas industry. Cody possesses excellent trouble shooting skills and an ability to implement new technology in a practical and effective manner. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
Mike Kettner, P.E.
Senior/Environmental Engineer
Mike is considered a seasoned veteran in the waste water treatment industry. His work experience includes 14 years in facilities and water treatment engineering after obtaining his Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Montana Tech. Mike is also a Registered Professional Engineer in Idaho and Wyoming. As the senior engineer in the engineering department, Mike manages a talented group of engineers. He will work closely on the design, construction and operation of each plant. EMIT is fortunate to have his arsenal of knowledge to lead any project to success.
Pete Swanstrom
Process Development Engineer
Pete recently joined EMIT’s Process Development team in Boise, Idaho. He has a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and brings over 20 years of practical engineering and design experience to the Process Development team.
Todd Ordahl, P.G.
Compliance Engineer
Todd came to EMIT with extensive experience as an environmental scientist and project manager. Compliance is critical to the success of EMIT, and Todd makes sure we are performing. He assists the producers, landowners and compliance officials at each site. Todd has helped to design the QC/QA procedures EMIT uses to assure compliance at each plant. His recommendations have helped EMIT to have the highest rating for water quality optimization and water quality management. Todd is also a graduate from the South Dakota School of Mines with a BS in Geological Engineering as well as a degree in Biology from the University of South Dakota.
Tyler Baltz
Operations Engineer
Tyler graduated from University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. His primary responsibility is to oversee the engineering, design, and construction of EMIT water treatment facilities. His contributions in mechanical component design and system engineering enables EMIT to construct an efficient and operable system. Tyler is also proficient in CAD design and process development.
Will Reedy
Operations Engineer
Will came to EMIT with a solid background in Civil and Structural engineering in the fall of 2005. Since then, he has been instrumental in improving overall system performance as needed to accomplish the five fold increase in treatment capacity EMIT achieved during that time period. Will’s expertise in Instrumentation and Controls as it applies to process and system development is proven. Will is a graduate from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
