Project Execution

Upon execution of a Water Treatment Agreement, EMIT staff will develop construction documents and make procurement arrangements for all ancillary equipment. This process can also start with a letter of intent and down payment, to move forward concurrent with legal contract negotiations, in order to move the schedule ahead.

Typically a unit will be treating water full time 90 to 120 days from executed contract or intent with down payment. Our primary treatment unit, the Model 6024 Higgins Loop, currently take 6 weeks to fabricate. The construction timeline is comprised of 1 week scheduling / procurement, 4 weeks site preparation / construction, 2 weeks tie-ins and loop delivery, and 1 week testing / start-up. EMIT takes great pride in its ability to provide on-time startups.

EMIT is in full control of the entire construction process from inception through operation. EMIT uses it’s sister company for the construction of the site so not to be subject to any other schedule. Start-up and debugging is completed by EMIT’s in-house engineering staff. EMIT boasts the fastest and most reliable startup schedule in the water management industry.

Complete service from start-up through contract completion will be provided. Every EMIT water treatment facility is monitored 24 hours, 7 days a week via a state-of-the-art broadband Supervisory Communications and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system in our control room located at EMIT’s headquarters. In addition to the high-tech control room EMIT provides full time, around the clock, skilled field staff to quickly respond to any situation. Average response time to a field issue is roughly one hour.
